2025-2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Horizontal (Credit/Institutional) Transfer Applications

1. Horizontal Transfer Based on GPA (Inter-Institutional and Intra-Institutional)

In accordance with the Regulation on Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Credit Transfer Between Institutions in Higher Education Institutions for the 2025-2026 Academic Year, students can apply for Horizontal Transfer to the higher education programs of our university based on GPA through ÖğrencilerONLINE using the documents listed below. Applications will be accepted online only.

Associate and Undergraduate Programs (Excluding Faculty of Medicine)

Results can be monitored via the Horizontal Transfer Application Module.

2.      ÖSYS/YKS Placement Document

3.      Transcript

4.      Course Descriptions (Accepted from universities’ Bologna pages)

5.      Document confirming no disciplinary action received

6.      Document confirming attendance to at least 10% of classes (for students applying from second-shift programs to regular programs)

2. Horizontal Transfer Based on Central Placement Score (Additional Article-1)

Students currently enrolled in preparatory, intermediate, or final years who wish to transfer based on Central Placement Minimum Score and have not previously used this option may apply online with the documents listed below.

Only candidates enrolled in higher education programs in Turkey can apply; students registered in foreign higher education institutions or in Northern Cyprus (KKTC) are not eligible.

5.      Document confirming eligibility for horizontal transfer (to be submitted at registration by those granted final registration)

Horizontal transfer applications, both inter-institutional and intra-institutional, will continue in accordance with the relevant regulation. For transfers conducted under Additional Article-1, the principles decided by the Higher Education Council meetings will apply.

Note: Students are fully responsible for any incorrect or false declarations during the application. GPA conversions will be applied according to the conversion tables determined by the Higher Education Executive Board. For applications from abroad, documents must be submitted with Notarized Translations.
